One of the best photos from Inaugurals past is one of the most fun. Watching the inaugural parade after his 1953 swearing in, President Dwight Eisenhower was approached by Monte Montana - a big rodeo star - who asked the president for permission to lasso him. Eisenhower, who had a sense of humor and was obviously in a good mood, broke out into his famous grin and Montana threw his rope over Ike - certainly a first for any president!
