Inauguration day 1973. That limo that President Richard Nixon and First Lady Pat are riding in? It's the same car that President John F. Kennedy was murdered in nearly a decade before. Ghoulish, you say? Perhaps. The government didn't retire Kennedy's car - a 1961 Lincoln Continental - after his assassination in Dallas. It was cleaned up, refurbished, armored and used by Presidents Johnson, Nixon, Ford and  Carter. You can see it today at the amazing Henry Ford Museum in Michigan. Worth a visit.

I've seen it. Creepy indeed. But do we know *why they didn't retire it?

Kai, I think after it was hardened they saw no reason to take it out of service. But creepy indeed.
