What a day: the White House says killing American citizens without due process - or even evidence - is "consistent" with the Constitution...President Obama is calling for a combination of spending cuts and tax reforms to act as a "stopgap" to prevent large, indiscriminate spending cuts from beginning next month (this as Obama came under heavy GOP criticism for failing, again, to submit a budget proposal to the Congress for the next fiscal year on time - as required by law. Meantime, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office says the deifict is going down rapidly, thanks to an improving economy and surging tax revenue.
